South Africa Overview

Our time in South Africa has two very different parts

• the part in Kruger National Park in search of birds and big mammals
• the part along the coast and in Capetown.

As usual, Brenda has not been idle. She has written up a report

• of the first 10 days, and a
• second report for the rest of the trip.

We had a great time, but for a bit of wind now and then. Mainly, whenever we were within 100 kms of the coast. It seems it is windy a lot here, something we will eventually get used to, I hope. We expect to return to South Africa, in May next time, to visit other parts of the country - this time at the start of the wet season to see a green version of South Africa.
